Someone mentions a film over coffee. Two taps and it is on your list before you have finished the conversation.

On iPhone, sign in once inside the app. Apple gives a home screen app its own separate storage, so being logged in to the site in Safari does not carry across. It is a one off, and you stay signed in afterwards.
Everything syncs to the same account, so a title added on your phone at lunch is on your laptop that evening.
