A place for the shows you gave up on
Three episodes in and it is not for you. Or a film stopped halfway because it was late. It is not watched, but it is not really on your list any more either.
Leave it on your list and it keeps getting in the way. Mark it watched and your history says you finished something you did not. So Watchlist Boosted has a Graveyard.
Graveyard
3Started, didn’t finish. Pick one back up and it goes back to Watching, from where you stopped.

How it works
- From any title’s menu, or from On Deck or Watching, choose Stopped watching.
- Note roughly where you got to: a time for a film, a season and episode for a series.
- Add why, if you like. There are quick picks (Lost interest, Too slow, Too heavy, Not in the mood, Couldn’t find it) or you can write your own.
It leaves your list and On Deck and goes to the Graveyard, newest first. Every field is optional, so burying something takes one tap if that is all you want.
Why not just delete it?
Because deleting it loses where you got to, and you might come back.
Plenty of shows get better in season 2, and plenty of films are better on a night you are in the mood for them. The Graveyard keeps the truth: you started it, you stopped, and here is where. Your Watched page only holds what you finished.
Changing your mind
- Pick it back up. If you noted where you stopped, it goes straight to your Watching row, ready to resume. If not, it goes back On Deck.
- Finished it. Went back to it after all? Mark it finished and it moves to Watched.
- Remove. Gone for good, if you never want to see it again.
You can also rate something you gave up on. Sometimes three episodes is enough to know it is a two-star show. The rating is kept, and the title stays in the Graveyard rather than being marked watched.
It stays buried
Re-importing your Netflix list or syncing Simkl never brings a buried title back. Only you can, by picking it back up.
And what you dropped elsewhere comes with you. Titles on your Simkl dropped list, and shows you stopped in TV Time, land in the Graveyard when you bring them in.
Buried titles are also left out where they would only get in the way: the titles you and a friend both want on Watch with friends, and new season alerts. If you gave up on a show, its next season is not news.
Questions
- Does a title in the Graveyard count as watched?
- No. Watched only holds what you finished. The Graveyard holds what you started and stopped, with where you got to.
- Can I bring something back?
- Yes. Pick it back up and it goes to your Watching row, ready to resume from where you stopped, or back On Deck if you did not note a place.
- Will re-importing my Netflix list bring it back?
- No. Imports and syncs never bring a buried title back. Only you can, by picking it back up.
- Do I have to say why I stopped?
- No. Where you got to and why are both optional. A title can go to the Graveyard with nothing noted at all.
- Does it cost anything?
- No. Watchlist Boosted is free, with no paywall.
