How to export your Letterboxd watchlist

Download your Letterboxd data as a ZIP from your account settings and import the watchlist in seconds. No extension needed.

Letterboxd does not offer a live connection, but it has a proper data export built in, so this is a file you download once.

  1. Go to letterboxd.com/settings/data .
  2. Click Export Your Data and download the ZIP.
  3. Drop the ZIP straight into the importer under Settings → Import Data. There is no need to unzip it; the watchlist inside is read automatically.

For ongoing sync instead of a one-off file, import your Letterboxd export into Simkl or Trakt, then connect that. Films only: Letterboxd does not track TV.

Then make the list useful

Once it is imported, sort by IMDb, TMDB or Rotten Tomatoes rating, filter by mood, note why you saved each title, and share the list with whoever you watch with. Free, with no paywall.
