Simkl connects directly, so there is no file to download, and you can re-sync any time. It is free to use, and unlike Trakt there is no limit on how many apps you can connect.
- Sign in, open Settings → Connections and click Connect Simkl.
- Approve access on simkl.com. You come straight back here.
- Your plan-to-watch list imports automatically: movies, TV and anime.
- Press Sync now whenever you want to pull in new additions.

Then make the list useful
Once it is imported, sort by IMDb, TMDB or Rotten Tomatoes rating, filter by mood, note why you saved each title, and share the list with whoever you watch with. Free, with no paywall.
